Pepe coin price in CZK: where the number comes from
Searching for the Pepe coin price in CZK usually lands you on a converted figure: someone takes the dollar or euro quote and multiplies it by the koruna rate. That is fine for a rough idea, and it is exactly what the widget at the top of this page does with live data. But if you want to actually pay in koruna, the number you see on a price site and the number you get on a platform can differ, because very few venues trade PEPE directly against CZK.
Czechia is in the EU but not in the euro area, and that one fact shapes the whole buying experience. The deep PEPE order books in Europe are PEPE/EUR. A Czech buyer therefore either uses a broker that quotes PEPE in koruna and handles the conversion inside its price, or changes CZK into EUR first and then trades on a euro market. Both routes cost something; the trick is knowing where that cost hides.
The tiny unit price also trips people up. PEPE has a supply of about 420.69 trillion tokens, so a single token is worth a minute fraction of a haléř, and the useful numbers are things like “what does CZK 1,000 buy?” (the widget answers that). If you want to play with amounts, the PEPE calculator converts between tokens and currencies, and the live PEPE price page explains market cap and volume.
Is PEPE legal in Czechia? ČNB and MiCA
Buying and holding PEPE is legal in Czechia. What changed in 2026 is who may sell it to you. The EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) makes the Czech National Bank (ČNB) the authority that licenses crypto-asset service providers based in Czechia. The transition period for older, nationally registered firms ended on 1 July 2026, and from that day only authorised providers may serve Czech clients.
The ČNB was blunt about it. In a notice of 15 June 2026 it warned that most former providers would not be able to carry on, and that fines for operating without authorisation can exceed CZK 100 million. On 1 July 2026 it announced that it had licensed 11 entities. Press reports put the number of applications at around 248, so the cut was steep. By the time we checked the ESMA register on 13 October 2026 it listed 12 Czech-based providers, including Anycoin (MP Developers s.r.o., authorised 11 Feb 2026) and Coinmate (COINMATE a.s., authorised 27 Feb 2026).
The same 1 July press release carried a line that many Czech traders noticed. The ČNB stated that Binance had not obtained authorisation from the Greek regulator and must stop providing services in the EU, Czechia included. For PEPE buyers this matters more than it sounds, because Binance was one of the first big exchanges to list PEPE back in May 2023 and plenty of people still had accounts there out of habit.
The practical rule is simple: before you send koruna anywhere, find the company in the ESMA register. A foreign provider can serve Czech customers legally if it holds a MiCA licence in another member state and has passported it to Czechia. That is how Bitpanda, Kraken and Revolut operate here.
Where to buy Pepe coin in the Czech Republic
Here is the slightly awkward part. The two best-known Czech platforms, both freshly licensed by the ČNB, are not where PEPE lives. We queried Coinmate’s public list of trading pairs on 13 October 2026 and found no PEPE market. Anycoin is harder to judge: its website blocked our checks, and the only claim that it sells PEPE came from a promotional guide on another site. We are treating Anycoin’s PEPE support as unverified. If you already use Anycoin, search for PEPE in the app and check the contract before buying.
| Venue | PEPE market | Licence | Funding |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitpanda | PEPE in CZK and EUR (broker) | MiCA: FMA Austria and BaFin, passported | CZK and EUR deposits |
| Kraken | PEPE/EUR order book | MiCA: Central Bank of Ireland, passported | EUR (SEPA not confirmed by us) |
| Revolut | PEPE/EUR price pages | MiCA: CySEC, passported | In-app balance |
| Anycoin | PEPE not confirmed | ČNB, authorised 11 Feb 2026 | Not checked |
| Coinmate | No PEPE pair | ČNB, authorised 27 Feb 2026 | n/a for PEPE |
Bitpanda is the cleanest koruna route. Its public price feed quotes PEPE in CZK alongside EUR and ten other currencies, and CZK is on its list of accepted fiat deposits. It is a broker, so you buy at a quoted price with the premium built in; Bitpanda’s own help page says the fee shown in a trade summary ranges from 0.00% to 2.49%, and the exact PEPE premium only appears when you place the order. Our Bitpanda review covers the licences and fees in detail.
Kraken offers a real PEPE/EUR order book under a MiCA licence from the Central Bank of Ireland. There is no CZK pair, so you deposit euro and trade against other users, which tends to be cheaper on larger amounts but means you handle the koruna-to-euro conversion yourself. Revolut has PEPE/EUR price pages and a CySEC MiCA licence passported to Czechia; it is convenient if you already keep a Revolut balance, though we could not test the buying flow directly. How to buy Pepe coin in Czechia, step by step
The steps below assume you want a regulated platform and a clean paper trail for the tax office. If you want the general version with screenshots and payment methods, our step-by-step PEPE buying guide goes deeper.
Pick an authorised venue
Check the provider in the ESMA register. For a CZK quote that means Bitpanda; for an order book in euro, Kraken.
Verify your identity
Every MiCA provider runs KYC. Have your občanský průkaz or passport ready, plus proof of address if asked.
Fund the account
Send koruna by bank transfer where CZK is accepted, or euro by SEPA. Note the exchange rate your bank or the platform applies.
Buy PEPE, then check the contract
Search for the ticker PEPE and make sure it is the Ethereum token ending in …2311933. Several platforms list unrelated frog tokens.
Decide on custody and records
Leave it on the platform or move it to your own PEPE wallet. Either way, export a transaction history for your tax records.
A word on the currency maths. If you fund in CZK on Bitpanda, the conversion is baked into the PEPE quote. If you fund in EUR on Kraken, your bank or a card provider converts first, and that spread can easily be larger than the trading fee. Comparing the final number of PEPE you receive for the same koruna amount is the honest way to compare routes.
Crypto tax in the Czech Republic: the CZK 100,000 and three-year rules
Czechia has one of the friendliest regimes in the EU for small and patient holders. Since an amendment that took effect in 2025 (Act 461/2024 Sb.), income from transferring crypto-assets is exempt from income tax in either of two cases. Sources disagree on whether the change applies from 1 January or 15 February 2025, so check with an adviser if your sales fall in that window.
The first exemption is the CZK 100,000 threshold, and the detail that catches people is that it counts total proceeds, not profit. Sell PEPE for CZK 120,000 in a year, even at a loss, and you are over the line. Swaps between coins can count as disposals too, so a busy year of rotating meme coins can burn through the limit faster than you expect.
The second is the time test: coins held for more than three years are exempt when sold, up to CZK 40 million of exempt proceeds a year. PEPE launched in April 2023, so the very earliest holders only crossed the three-year mark in spring 2026. Neither exemption applies to crypto held as a business asset, and e-money tokens are excluded. Above these limits, the gain is taxable income and has to go on your return; we are not giving tax advice, so a Czech daňový poradce is worth the fee if you are close to the thresholds.
For context on what “close” looks like in practice, our PEPE profit calculator lets you work out sale proceeds in CZK before you click sell.
CEX.IO and Czech users
CEX.IO, the long-running exchange (operating since 2013) that this site’s buttons link to, does not accept new customers from the EU or EEA, and that includes Czechia. Its terms say existing EU accounts remain open only for withdrawals and account management. Its European entity, CEX.IO Europe, S.L. in Madrid, has applied to Spain’s CNMV for a MiCA licence; the application was still under review and the firm was not in the ESMA register when we checked on 13 October 2026.
Even outside the EU, CEX.IO trades PEPE only against USD, USDT and USDC, with no CZK or EUR pair. For a Czech resident today, the licensed routes in the table above are the realistic options.
Living outside the EU or travelling?CEX.IO is closed to new EU sign-ups. Check availability in your country before signing up.
Grab some PEPELocal tips for Czech PEPE buyers
Ignore the licence-less leftovers. After 1 July 2026 a lot of small Czech exchange offices and Telegram “směnárny” lost the right to serve clients. If someone offers you PEPE for cash or by a direct bank transfer to a private account, you have no MiCA protection and a real chance of being scammed.
Check you have the right frog. Platforms list a surprising number of tokens with “Pepe” in the name. The real PEPE is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with the contract ending in 2311933; anything else is a copycat. Our guide to PEPE copycats lists the common ones, and is PEPE safe? covers the market risks.
Keep a running total. Because the tax-free limit is based on proceeds, a simple spreadsheet of every sale in CZK is the most useful tool a Czech PEPE holder can have. Export your history from each platform once a year.
Czechia pairs a strict regulator with a generous tax rule. The catch is that local favourites Coinmate and (as far as we can verify) Anycoin don’t offer PEPE, so most Czech buyers end up on a passported EU platform. Bitpanda is the only route we confirmed with a native CZK price; Kraken suits euro holders who want an order book. Chainalysis did not place Czechia in its 2025 top 20 for adoption, so the local PEPE market is small, and liquidity sits on the big EU venues.
If you are comparing neighbours, see how buying PEPE in Germany differs (one-year holding rule, BaFin), or how buying PEPE in the Netherlands works with iDEAL and Box 3. All twelve countries are summarised on the PEPE by country hub.
Questions people ask
Can I buy Pepe coin in Czech koruna?+
Yes, through a broker. Bitpanda quotes PEPE in CZK as well as EUR, and it accepts CZK deposits. Most order-book exchanges that list PEPE, such as Kraken, only offer a PEPE/EUR pair, so your koruna gets converted to euro somewhere along the way.
Does Coinmate or Anycoin sell PEPE?+
Coinmate does not: its public list of trading pairs has no PEPE market (checked 13 Oct 2026). For Anycoin we could not confirm a PEPE listing, because its website blocked our checks and the only claim we found was in a promotional third-party guide. Look inside the Anycoin app before you count on it.
Is crypto tax-free in Czechia?+
Often, yes. Since 2025 income from selling crypto is exempt if your total crypto sale proceeds stay at or under CZK 100,000 a year, or if you held the coins for more than three years. The limit counts proceeds, not profit, and neither exemption covers business assets. Above those limits, the income is taxable, so speak to a Czech tax adviser.
Can I still use Binance from Czechia?+
The ČNB said on 1 July 2026 that Binance had not received a MiCA authorisation from the Greek regulator and must stop providing services in the EU, including Czechia. Use a provider that appears in the ESMA register of authorised crypto-asset service providers instead.
Who regulates crypto exchanges in Czechia?+
The Czech National Bank (ČNB) is the authority for crypto-asset service providers under MiCA. Since the transition period ended on 1 July 2026, only authorised providers, or firms passporting a MiCA licence from another EU country, may serve Czech customers.
Can Czech residents open a CEX.IO account?+
No new accounts. CEX.IO does not onboard new EU or EEA users, and existing accounts are limited to withdrawals and account management. Its EU entity has a MiCA application pending with Spain’s CNMV and is not in the ESMA register.
