Quick answer
A useful Pepe coin price prediction is a set of scenarios, not a single target. PEPE has a fixed supply of 420.69 trillion tokens, so its price is simply market cap divided by supply. On 13 October 2026 CoinGecko listed PEPE at about $0.00000405, a market cap of roughly $1.7 billion, rank #61, and 85.5% below its all-time high. That is the starting line for everything below.
From there, the honest range looks like this. A slide back to the July 2026 low would put PEPE near $0.0000022. A return to the December 2024 peak, when PEPE was worth about $11.8 billion, would mean roughly $0.000028. Growing to the size Shiba Inu reached in 2021 would mean about $0.0001. Nobody knows which of these happens, including us, and anybody quoting you a precise price for a precise date is selling confidence they don’t have.

How a PEPE price prediction actually works
Every price forecast, whether it comes from a YouTuber, an algorithm or a bank, secretly makes a claim about market cap. Because PEPE has no ongoing emissions and no vesting unlocks, the supply side barely moves. CoinGecko counts the nominal 420.69T, CoinMarketCap counts about 413.77T after excluding the tokens burned in October 2023, and the gap between the two is only about 1.6%. Our PEPE tokenomics breakdown explains where that difference comes from.
So the formula is boring and reliable: price = market cap ÷ 420.69 trillion. Each extra billion dollars of market cap adds roughly $0.0000024 to the price. Once you see a prediction as a market cap, you can sanity-check it against coins that have actually reached that size. That is the whole method behind this page.
Pepe coin prediction: bear, base and bull scenarios
We anchored every scenario to a market cap PEPE or a rival has already printed, so none of them is pulled out of thin air. The “vs snapshot” column compares each case with the 13 October 2026 CoinGecko figure of $1.706 billion. These are labelled scenarios built from math. They are not forecasts, and they come with no timeline.
| Scenario | Market cap | Implied price | vs snapshot | Anchor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deep bear | $252M | $0.0000006 | −85% | Sep 2023 low revisited |
| Bear | $938M | $0.0000022 | −45% | July 2026 low revisited |
| Base | $1.5B–$4.2B | $0.0000036–$0.00001 | −12% to +147% | Range trading |
| Bull | $11.8B | $0.000028 | +590% | Back to the Dec 2024 peak |
| Super-bull | $41B | $0.0000975 | +2,300% | SHIB’s 2021 peak size |
The bear case
PEPE has already shown how deep a meme-coin winter can go. After the August 2023 multisig scare, Binance’s monthly candles show a low of $0.0000006, around a quarter of a billion dollars in market cap. More recently, the price drifted to about $0.0000022 in June and July 2026. A bear case simply assumes buyers walk away again, perhaps because Bitcoin falls further or attention moves to a newer frog. Our PEPE risk guide covers what can drag the price down, including whether it can go to zero.
The base case
Most of the time PEPE does neither thing dramatically. It trades in a wide band and follows the broader crypto mood. A $1.5–4.2 billion band, or roughly $0.0000036 to $0.00001 per token, brackets the 13 October snapshot with room on either side. Boring, yes, but range trading is the most common state for any coin that has already had its big moment.
The bull and super-bull cases
A full return to the 2024 peak needs about 6.9 times today’s market cap. It has happened before: PEPE went from a September 2023 low to a new record in fifteen months. Going beyond that means PEPE becoming roughly as big as Shiba Inu was at its 2021 top. Estimates of SHIB’s peak cap vary from about $41 billion to $44 billion depending on the supply count used, and Dogecoin peaked around $90 billion in May 2021 according to OKX’s ATH explainer. Those peak sizes are third-party estimates, not on-chain facts. For a full side-by-side, see our PEPE vs DOGE vs SHIB comparison.
Above that, you are into territory no meme coin has reached. Pushing PEPE to a cent requires a market cap bigger than Bitcoin’s, which is why we gave that question its own page with the full 1-cent and $1 math rather than repeating it here.
What actually moves the PEPE price
Scenarios tell you where the price would be. Drivers tell you what could push it there. Five forces explain most of PEPE’s big moves since launch, and they are worth watching more closely than any prediction chart.
1. The Bitcoin cycle
Meme coins are a high-beta bet on the whole market. When Bitcoin wobbles, PEPE usually falls harder. The market-wide crash on 10 October 2025 pushed PEPE to a $0.00000279 wick on Binance, and the coin was reported as the worst performer among the top meme coins of 2025. Any bullish PEPE scenario quietly assumes a friendly Bitcoin backdrop.
2. Exchange listings
Access matters. The Binance listing on 5 May 2023 coincided with PEPE’s first peak. On 13 November 2024 Robinhood listed PEPE and Coinbase added it to its roadmap with the goal of listing the same day, and Upbit followed on 14 November. Within a month PEPE hit its all-time high. The obvious big listings have now happened, so this lever is weaker than it was. Our guide to exchanges that list PEPE shows where it trades today.
3. The ETF filing
Canary Capital filed an S-1 for a spot PEPE ETF on 8 April 2026 and a first amendment on 2 October 2026, according to SEC EDGAR. The proposed listing venue is Cboe BZX with BitGo as custodian. As of 13 October 2026 the fund is not effective and not trading, and we found no exchange rule approval. An approved ETF could open PEPE to brokerage accounts, but filings can sit for months or be withdrawn.

Made up your own mind about the scenarios?Only buy what you can afford to see drop hard. Meme coins move fast in both directions.
Start with PEPE4. Whale and exchange flows
Etherscan shows the top 100 wallets holding 76.73% of supply on 13 October 2026. That sounds scary, but most of the biggest wallets are exchange custody wallets, with four labelled Binance wallets alone holding about 17.9%. The unlabelled large wallets are the ones to watch. Big transfers into exchanges often precede selling, and the August 2023 multisig move of about 16 trillion PEPE knocked roughly 16% off the price within a day, according to the Canary S-1/A.
5. Unlock-free supply
Here PEPE differs from most newer tokens. There is no vesting schedule, no team unlock calendar and no transfer tax. At launch 93.1% went to the Uniswap pool and 6.9% to a multisig, and the contract owner is renounced. There is also no automatic burn, despite what some sites claim: the October 2023 burn of about 6.9T was a one-off. That makes supply a non-event for price prediction, which is nice, but it also means demand has to do all the work.
What analyst price forecasts really are
Search “pepe coin price prediction” and you will see tidy tables from forecasting sites promising a price for every month until 2050. Most of these are produced by algorithms that extrapolate past volatility and momentum, or by writers stretching a recent trend line. They are rarely updated against reality, and they often contradict each other by an order of magnitude.
We are deliberately not reproducing those numbers here. If you do read third-party forecasts, check three things: who published it and when, what market cap the target implies, and whether the same site was right about last year. Sponsored articles that pair a PEPE prediction with a “next PEPE” presale are a special case. Those clones mostly trade 95–99% below their peaks, as our guide to Pepe copycat tokens documents.
Pepe coin price prediction 2026, 2030 and 2040
People search for exact years, so let us be direct. For the rest of 2026, the drivers above are the ones that matter: the Bitcoin trend, the ETF decision and whether whales return. Binance’s monthly candles show a 2026 low of about $0.0000022 in July, followed by a recovery to roughly $0.000004 by October. Nothing structural about the token has changed in that time.
For 2030 and 2040, any price is a guess dressed as a number. A four-year horizon spans at least one full crypto cycle, probably new rules for meme coins and a leaderboard that may not include PEPE at all. For perspective, PEPE went from launch in April 2023 to an $11.8 billion peak in under two years. The SEC staff said in February 2025 that typical meme coins are not securities, but that was non-binding guidance and can change. If you want to model 2030, use the slider: pick a market cap you find plausible, then ask honestly what would have to be true for PEPE to be worth that.

Pepe coin next bull run: a checklist
Instead of waiting for a prediction to come true, watch for the conditions a bull scenario needs. If most of these boxes stay empty, the bull case is just hope. Our PEPE price history shows how earlier rallies lined up with them.
- Bitcoin trending up and risk appetite returning across crypto
- Rising PEPE trading volume on major exchanges, not just price spikes
- A decision on the Canary spot PEPE ETF filing
- Large wallets moving PEPE out of exchanges rather than into them
- PEPE holding its rank against DOGE and SHIB rather than losing ground
- No new security incidents like the December 2025 website hijack
Our take
PEPE is a culture coin with a clean contract and no unlock overhang, but no cash flows and no floor. Its price will be whatever the market decides to pay for the meme. A return to the 2024 peak is a plausible bull scenario because it already happened once. Anything far beyond that needs PEPE to outgrow the biggest meme coins in history. Treat every target, ours included, as a scenario.

Questions people ask
What is a realistic Pepe coin price prediction?+
Nobody can give one honestly. What you can do is test market caps: a return to the December 2024 peak of about $11.8 billion means roughly $0.000028 per PEPE, while a retest of the July 2026 low means about $0.0000022. Anything outside that band needs a much bigger story than PEPE has had so far.
How high will Pepe coin go?+
There is no known ceiling or floor. As a reference, PEPE would need a market cap of about $41 billion (roughly Shiba Inu’s 2021 peak) to trade near $0.0001, and about $90 billion (roughly Dogecoin’s 2021 peak) to trade near $0.0002. Those are scenarios, not targets.
Is Pepe coin going to explode?+
PEPE has made huge moves before, such as the rally around the Coinbase and Robinhood listings in November 2024. It has also fallen more than 85% from its peak. Explosive moves in both directions are part of the asset, so size any position as if a large drop is possible.
What is the Pepe coin price prediction for 2030?+
Any 2030 number is a guess. Four years is long enough for several market cycles, new regulation and a completely different meme-coin leaderboard. The useful question is which market cap you think PEPE could hold in 2030, and how likely that is.
Will PEPE reach 1 cent?+
At 1 cent PEPE would be worth about $4.2 trillion, far above Bitcoin today. We walk through the full math, including $1 and the burn question, on our separate 1-cent page.
Can the PEPE ETF filing push the price up?+
Canary Capital filed an S-1 for a spot PEPE ETF on 8 April 2026 and an amendment on 2 October 2026. As of 13 October 2026 it is not effective and not trading. Approval, if it ever comes, could bring new demand, but a filing is not an approval.
