Quick verdict
If you are looking up Pepe coin on Paribu, you’re in good company. The Turkish lira is PEPE’s second-largest fiat market, at about 30% of fiat-pair volume on CoinGecko-tracked venues on 13 October 2026, and Paribu is one of the main local venues for it. Its PEPE_TL market traded roughly 240 billion PEPE in 24 hours that day, alongside a PEPE_USDT market.
Paribu has been around since 2017, founded by Yasin Oral according to press interviews. Its trading company, Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş., declares TL 500 million in paid-in capital, and we found no reported security breach. It also publishes a clear, tiered commission table, which is more than its biggest rival does.
The weak points are the price of entry and the paperwork. Small TL buyers pay a 0.28% taker fee, withdrawal fees aren’t published outside the app, and Paribu, like every Turkish exchange, sits on SPK’s provisional list rather than holding a final licence. That adds up to 6.8 out of 10, ahead of the 6.1 in our BtcTurk review. Our guide to buying PEPE in Turkey covers the other local options.
Paribu PEPE coin markets and the PEPE price in lira
We pulled Paribu’s public ticker on 13 October 2026. Both PEPE_TL and PEPE_USDT were live. Paribu writes the lira pair as PEPE_TL rather than PEPE_TRY, which is why many Turks search for the Pepe coin price on Paribu in “TL”. The original listing date could not be confirmed.
The lira pair is where the volume is, which matters for a meme coin. Deep books mean your market order fills close to the quoted price instead of walking up through thin offers. The USDT pair is useful if you already hold Tether, because its fees are much lower; if you don’t, converting lira to USDT first is itself a trade with its own fee, so the saving shrinks.
Paribu sells the real Ethereum ERC-20 PEPE. Plenty of unrelated tokens borrow the name, so if someone sends you a “new PEPE” contract address, compare it with our list of PEPE copycats first.
Paribu review: how we scored it
Every exchange we review gets six equally weighted sub-scores, and the overall score is their rounded average. Verified facts earn points; claims we couldn’t check don’t. The lens is buying and holding PEPE.
PEPE market (8.5): two live pairs and deep lira liquidity, though BtcTurk traded more PEPE on the day we checked. App and UX (7.5): a 4.4 iOS rating from almost 85,000 reviews is solid, though below BtcTurk’s. Fees (6.5): the table is published and the top tiers are cheap, but most retail users live on Level 1, where 0.28% taker is among the higher rates we saw. Withdrawal fees for TL and PEPE are not documented publicly.
Funding rails (6.5): lira bank transfers via IBAN, which are fast, but we could not verify any other route. Security record (6.5): no reported incident and sizable capital, offset by no verified proof of reserves or insurance. Regulation (5.5): Paribu is on SPK’s provisional list and has applied for custody, but SPK states that the list is not an authorisation. That is the same for every Turkish exchange, so it lowers the ceiling rather than singling Paribu out.
Paribu fees for PEPE
Paribu uses a maker-taker model. If your order adds liquidity to the book (a limit order that doesn’t fill straight away), you pay the maker rate. If it takes liquidity (a market order, or a limit that fills instantly), you pay the taker rate. Lira pairs have eight levels based on your 30-day TL volume; USDT pairs have one flat rate.
| Market / level | Maker | Taker | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| TL pairs, Level 1 | 0.12% | 0.28% | Up to 1M TL 30-day volume |
| TL pairs, top level | 0.01% | 0.10% | 2.5B TL or more |
| USDT pairs | 0.01% | 0.10% | Flat for everyone |
| Loyalty discount | 5–15% | 5–15% | TL pairs; 15–25% on USDT pairs |
| TL and PEPE withdrawals | — | — | Fees not published outside the app |
In practice: a ₺10,000 market buy on PEPE_TL costs ₺28 in commission at Level 1. The same buy as a resting limit order costs ₺12. That ₺16 difference is small once, but it adds up if you trade often. Loyalty levels shave a further 5–15% off TL-pair commissions. To see how commission affects a whole round trip, try our PEPE profit calculator.

Hop inHow to buy PEPE on Paribu
The process is the familiar Turkish one: verify, send lira from your bank, trade. For a broader walkthrough, including buying on a DEX with MetaMask, see our guide to buying PEPE.
Sign up and verify
Create an account in the Paribu app or on paribu.com and complete identity checks, which Turkish rules require before trading.
Send lira from your bank
Transfer TL by havale or EFT to your Paribu account from a bank account in your own name. Some banks, Yapı Kredi among them, advertise instant 24/7 transfers to Paribu.
Open PEPE_TL
Search for PEPE and choose the PEPE/TL market. If you already hold USDT, the PEPE/USDT market has lower fees.
Use a limit order
A limit order that rests on the book pays the maker fee: 0.12% at Level 1 instead of 0.28% for a market order.
Hold or withdraw
Keep a trading balance on Paribu or withdraw PEPE to your own Ethereum wallet. Check the network and fee on the withdraw screen and send a test amount first.
Withdrawing PEPE means an ERC-20 transfer on Ethereum, which costs gas. On small amounts that cost can be painful, so many users leave a trading balance on the exchange and withdraw only larger sums. Our PEPE wallet guide walks through adding the official contract to MetaMask and checking it on Etherscan.
Is Paribu safe?
We searched for hacks, freezes and major incidents at Paribu and found none reported. The exchange also separates its trading and custody companies, and the custody arm, Paribu Kripto Varlık Saklama Kuruluşu A.Ş., has applied to SPK for custody status. The App Store still lists the older company name, Paribu Teknoloji, as the seller.
What we could not find is a verifiable proof of reserves or any insurance detail. So the honest answer to “is Paribu safe?” is: safer than an unknown offshore app, with no known incidents, but not something you can prove from the outside. Keep the exchange for trading and your own wallet for holding. Our page on PEPE safety covers the token-side risks too.
SPK status: a list, not a licence
Law No. 7518 of July 2024 brought crypto platforms under the Capital Markets Board, SPK. While SPK reviews applications, it publishes a “Faaliyette Bulunanlar Listesi”, the list of firms operating in the meantime. The version dated 1 October 2026 has 52 entries and is explicitly marked as provisional. Paribu’s trading platform is entry 40, and its custody company is entry 41 with a custody application.
SPK spells out that being on the list does not mean a firm has been authorised. No Turkish exchange is shown as fully licensed yet, and SPK does act: on 23 September 2026 it barred Bitexen from taking new customers. Separately, Paribu has an SPK founding permit for a brokerage arm, Paribu Yatırım Menkul Değerler. On tax, Turkey had no crypto-specific income or transaction tax in force in October 2026; proposals for one were withdrawn in March 2026.

Alternatives, and how CEX.IO compares
BtcTurk is Paribu’s closest rival, with PEPE_TRY and PEPE_USDT, stop orders and an even bigger app following, but it has been hacked twice since 2024; read our BtcTurk review for the details. Binance TR and OKX TR also list PEPE against the lira and are on the SPK list. Our PEPE exchanges overview compares the global venues.
CEX.IO is an international exchange operating since 2013, with a US NMLS registration (#1804170) and UK FCA anti-money-laundering registration (firm 1007192). Turkey is not on its unsupported list, so Turkish residents can generally sign up, contracting with CEX OVRS LLC in Nevis. But CEX.IO has no SPK licence and is not on the SPK list, and there is no lira pair: PEPE trades against USD, USDT and USDC, with very thin volume on 13 October 2026.

SPK also blocked access to 23 unlicensed sites in August 2026, so using a foreign platform from Turkey carries regulatory uncertainty. For lira buyers, Paribu is the more natural route; CEX.IO only makes sense if you specifically need dollar pairs, and you should check what your account actually allows before funding it.
Paribu is a good place to buy PEPE with lira if you use limit orders. Its depth and clean record are real strengths. The 0.28% entry taker fee, missing withdrawal-fee disclosure and an SPK process that is still provisional are why it scores 6.8, not higher.
Questions people ask
Is Pepe coin on Paribu?+
Yes. Paribu’s public ticker showed two live PEPE markets on 13 October 2026: PEPE_TL against the Turkish lira and PEPE_USDT against Tether. The lira pair traded roughly 240 billion PEPE that day.
What does it cost to buy PEPE on Paribu?+
On lira pairs, new users pay 0.12% as maker and 0.28% as taker, falling through eight volume levels to 0.01% and 0.10%. USDT pairs cost a flat 0.01% maker and 0.10% taker. Loyalty levels add small discounts on top.
Is Paribu licensed by SPK?+
Paribu is on SPK’s list of firms operating while their applications are reviewed. SPK labels that list provisional and says being on it does not mean a firm is authorised. We found no final SPK operating permit for Paribu as of 13 October 2026.
Is Paribu safe?+
We found no reported hack at Paribu, and the trading company declares TL 500 million in paid-in capital. We could not verify a proof of reserves or insurance, so treat your exchange balance as a working balance and keep long-term PEPE in your own wallet.
Why is the Pepe coin price on Paribu different from BtcTurk?+
Each exchange has its own order book, so lira prices drift slightly apart. On 13 October 2026 the two quotes were within a fraction of a percent. Compare the total cost, including commission, rather than the headline price alone.
Can I withdraw PEPE from Paribu to my wallet?+
Paribu supports crypto withdrawals, but it does not publish the PEPE network or fee outside the app. PEPE is an Ethereum token, so check the network on the withdraw screen and send a small test first.
