Pepe coin price in Pakistan, in PKR

The Pepe coin price in Pakistan is shown live in rupees in the widget above. To give you a feel for the numbers, CoinGecko’s reference rate on 13 October 2026 was about ₨0.00113 per PEPE. In other words, one PEPE is worth roughly a tenth of a paisa, so nobody buys “one” PEPE. People think in batches: at that snapshot, 1,000 PEPE came to about ₨1.13, 1 million PEPE to about ₨1,127, and a ₨5,000 budget bought roughly 4.4 million tokens.

There is a catch that matters more in Pakistan than almost anywhere else. Because no exchange runs a PEPE/PKR order book, the rupee price you actually pay is set by P2P sellers, not by a market. On 13 October 2026 the PEPE/PKR ads on Binance P2P were quoting about ₨0.001206, roughly 7% above CoinGecko’s reference rate. USDT/PKR ads on Binance were around ₨283.5 and on Bybit around ₨282. Your real cost of PEPE in PKR is the P2P rate plus any spot trading fee. Our PEPE calculator helps you turn rupees into tokens before you trade.

Pakistan moved from grey zone to rulebook remarkably fast. The Pakistan Crypto Council launched on 14 March 2025, chaired by Finance Minister Aurangzeb with Bilal bin Saqib as CEO. The Virtual Assets Ordinance 2025 then created PVARA, the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, effective 8 July 2025. In early March 2026 parliament passed the Virtual Assets Act, 2026, which made PVARA a permanent federal regulator and came into force at once.

The Act is explicit on one point: “Virtual Assets are not legal tender”. It regulates whoever provides crypto services by way of business. Neither the Act nor PVARA criminalises individuals who hold crypto, though we did not find a clear PVARA statement that retail holding is “legal”. The fair summary is that it is not banned and is regulated through service providers. Under section 70, firms already operating on or before 5 March 2026 had to apply for a no-objection certificate (NOC) by 5 September 2026 or stop operating. PVARA has promulgated the Pakistan Virtual Asset Services Regulations, 2026 and activity-specific regulations, and runs a portal for sandbox, NOC and licence applications.

So far, no exchange has a full PVARA licence that we could find. Binance and HTX received NOCs on 12 December 2025, which let them register with the goAML system and incorporate locally, but a NOC is not a full operating licence. About 70 firms applied by the September deadline, according to a single report quoting PVARA’s chairman. Banking is changing too: press reports say a State Bank of Pakistan circular of 14 April 2026 revoked the 2018 instructions that kept banks away from crypto. Banks may now hold segregated PKR client accounts for PVARA-licensed providers, while NOC holders get only limited-purpose accounts. Banks still cannot trade or hold crypto themselves.

Where Pakistanis buy PEPE: P2P and global exchanges

Without a local PEPE/PKR exchange, almost everyone uses the P2P desks of global exchanges. We checked the live ad books on 13 October 2026. Binance is the deepest by far, with 548 USDT/PKR buy ads and even 11 ads selling PEPE directly for rupees. OKX had 144 USDT/PKR ads and Bybit 110. For a wider comparison of these venues, see our PEPE exchanges guide.

The payment lists in those ads show how Pakistanis actually move money. Mobile wallets JazzCash and Easypaisa, the State Bank’s Raast instant-payment rail, and neo-banks SadaPay and NayaPay dominate, alongside traditional banks such as Meezan, UBL and Allied. Raast transfers settle instantly between banks, which makes P2P orders quick to complete when both sides use it.

How to buy Pepe coin with PKR, step by step

This is the two-step route most people use, via USDT. The direct PEPE/PKR ads skip a step, but there are far fewer of them and the price can be worse. Our general how-to-buy guide covers the parts that work the same in every country.

  1. Open and verify an account

Sign up on a global exchange with P2P, complete KYC with your CNIC, and switch on two-factor authentication.

  2. Buy USDT on P2P

Filter USDT/PKR ads by your payment method (Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank). Pick a seller with many completed orders and a high completion rate.

  3. Pay inside the order window

Send PKR from an account in your own name to the exact account shown in the order, then mark it paid. The seller’s USDT is held in escrow until they release it.

  4. Swap USDT for PEPE

Move USDT to your spot wallet and buy on the PEPE/USDT market. A limit order avoids slippage.

  5. Secure your PEPE

For anything beyond small amounts, withdraw to an Ethereum (ERC-20) wallet you control.

Self-custody matters more here, given that no platform is fully licensed yet. Native PEPE lives on Ethereum, so withdraw over the Ethereum network unless you know exactly what you are doing; our PEPE wallet guide walks through it. And double-check the token: plenty of frog-themed copycats exist, and Pepecoin (PEP) is a completely different coin. The PEPE vs Pepecoin explainer shows how to tell them apart.

P2P safety: how not to get burned

P2P is where most rupee-to-crypto trouble happens, and nearly all of it follows a few patterns. The escrow only protects you if you stay inside the platform’s rules. A seller who asks you to chat on WhatsApp, pay a different account, or “release first, I’ll send after” is taking the protection away. The same goes for buyers who send screenshots of payments instead of real money. Fake bank SMS and doctored transfer screenshots are a classic trick against sellers, so always check your actual balance in your banking or wallet app.

  • Trade only inside the exchange’s P2P order, never on WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • Pay only the account shown in the order, and from an account in your own name.
  • Never mark an order as paid before the money has actually left your account.
  • If you sell, check your real balance; ignore screenshots and SMS alerts.
  • Start small with a new counterparty, and open an appeal at once if anything feels off.

One more local point: the SBP’s 2026 change opened banking to licensed providers, not to individual P2P traders, so ordinary P2P payments still run between personal accounts. Keep a record of every order in case your bank or the FBR asks about a transfer. For more on scams and risk sizing, read is PEPE safe.

Tax on crypto in Pakistan

Tax is the least settled part of Pakistan’s crypto story. According to press reports, the FBR’s position is that crypto gains are already taxable under the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, as capital gains, with mining treated as business income. The Virtual Assets Act adds that licensed providers must comply with income tax law and FBR rules (section 66). A dedicated crypto capital gains tax of 10% to 30% was proposed for Budget 2026-27 in June 2026, but we could not confirm whether the Finance Act 2026 enacted it or at what rate.

Be wary of confident numbers online. The “5% CGT” and “15% flat” rates you may see on social media are not in the Virtual Assets Act; we searched the text. Individual returns for tax year 2026 (July 2025 to June 2026) are normally due on 30 September, though the FBR often extends that date and we could not confirm this year’s deadline. Keep a record of every P2P and spot trade, and ask a tax practitioner if your gains are meaningful.

CEX.IO availability in Pakistan

CEX.IO, an exchange running since 2013, does not list Pakistan among its 30 unsupported countries and territories (support article dated 10 September 2026), so Pakistani residents can technically open an account with its international entity, CEX OVRS LLC in Nevis. Treat that with care. We found no PVARA NOC or licence for CEX.IO, and the Act expects providers serving Pakistan to obtain one. There is no PKR pair or PKR deposit method: PEPE trades there against USD, USDT and USDC, with very small volumes when we checked. CEX.IO pages also showed a notice that deposits and trading were unavailable “due to ongoing regulatory updates”, labelled for the EU’s MiCA rules; we could not confirm whether it affects users in Pakistan. Check availability in your own account before sending money.

Unique facts: Pakistan and PEPE

Pakistan is one of the world’s most crypto-active countries. In Chainalysis’s 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index it ranked #3, up from #9 in 2024. That came before any exchange held a full licence, which says a lot about how far P2P carries the market. The 2026 Act turned that grassroots activity into a formal regime in about a year: it says plainly that virtual assets are not legal tender, while the State Bank reversed its 2018 banking restrictions for licensed providers on 14 April 2026.

And yes, you can buy the frog directly in rupees: 11 PEPE/PKR ads were live on Binance P2P on 13 October 2026, payable via Easypaisa or Raast. Neighbouring markets look very different. Compare buying PEPE in India, where rupee order books exist but gains face a flat 30% tax, and buying PEPE in Turkey, where the lira was the second-largest fiat currency for PEPE trading on the day we checked.

Our take

For now, P2P USDT bought with Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa and swapped into PEPE is the practical route in Pakistan. It works, but you carry the counterparty and regulatory risk yourself. Keep orders small, stay inside the escrow, and watch the PVARA register for the first full licences.
